Beamed Independent Scaffold
County Square Shopping Centre - Shopping Centre, 108 Elwick Rd Ashford, TN23 1YB
We have been asked to design a 20-meter height Independent Access Scaffold for cladding works. Bridging 13.00 meters above the shopping centre entrance we used double Dessa beams protecting the public and the glass canopy below. A clear and precise 2D working drawing was issued for this project.

Heavy Duty Ramp

The client required a heavy-duty scaffolding ramp supporting a 7000kg Dumper Machine and 4500kg Excavator to facilitate material transportation. A 2D working drawing and a 3D animation detail were combined for this job, taking the scaffolding design to another level.

Temporary Roof Scaffold
Xchange Point, London
The scaffolding structure was used to allow access to the existing roof, remove the gravel and repair the insulation. Due to the unique limitations of the building, there were some significant challenges to overcome. Unable to tie the scaffold to the building, we used a rigid wing brace system connecting 450mm Haki Beams to all structural lifts.

Encapsulated Access Scaffold
Twelvetress Bridge, London
We have been asked to design an 80 meter long and 20m wide Access Scaffold for Twelvetrees bridge refurbishments works. The scaffold was fully encapsulated with shrink wrap and 116 tonnes of kentledge was used for erecting the scaffold and to stabilise the scaffold from overturning. Our 2D working drawing was clear and precise, showing every detail necessary, for the scaffolders to build the structure.

Beamed Access Scaffold

Our client required an Independent Scaffold Design to facilitate access to the face of the building for cladding repairs and safe access for pedestrians underneath the scaffold.
Our 2D working drawing was clear and precise, showing every detail necessary, for the scaffolders to build the structure. Double 750mm girders were used for this project to span the 13.00m bridge safely.

Beamed Access Scaffold

The scaffolding structure was used to allow access on the face of the building, for cladding work. Due to the unique limitations of the building, there were some significant challenges to overcome. Unable to tie the last two lifts of scaffold to the building, we used a combination of external rakers, plan bracing and ledger bracing allowing the scaffold to be safe to use. Multiple Apollo 750 X beams and Layher 750 beams were used for this project, spanning and cantilevering over a road used by UK police.

Unable to base the scaffold on the ground, we used shear tie plates fixed to existing concrete columns, every four lifts.
