We have been asked to design a 50-meter height Independent Access Scaffold for cladding works. Due to the unique limitations of the building, there were some significant challenges to overcome. Unable to base the scaffold on the ground, we used shear tie plates fixed to existing concrete columns, every four lifts. A 2D working drawing and a 3D detail were combined for this job, taking the scaffold design to another level.
